The Resettlement Officer will provide clients with one to one support to either maintain their current accommodation or move-on into secure permanent accommodation. They will also introduce private rented landlords to clients; by providing the support necessary for the client to live sustainable independent lives and to maintain successful tenancies. The landlord will be able to liaise with the Resettlement Officer if issues arise which may affect or threaten a client's tenancy.
The Resettlement Officer is responsibility for the furnisher that has been donated to the Association. When a client moves on to permanent accommodation, the Resettlement Officer will allow the client to take their pick of the donated furnisher to ensure that their accommodation is furnished to a good standard before they move into it.
